Buyer guide
The real split is not price. It is who touches your account and how much of your login they need to do it.
You want a person to do the following and liking, you are comfortable with that person signing in to your account, and the budget allows roughly $99 to $249 a month at the entry tier.
You know your niche, you want to choose the accounts and hashtags yourself, and you would rather keep your password and two-factor login to yourself. You trade a named contact for lower cost and more control.
The engagement is automated and runs on the audience you define, with no password. Choose Glory ($129 for the first month) and a dedicated account manager takes over strategy, targeting and optimization, with weekly growth reports and priority 24/7 support.

Before you sign
Instagram's own guidance, “Why you should not use apps that offer likes and followers on Instagram”, is the best checklist there is. Here is what it means when you are hiring.
Instagram's help center says that anyone holding your login details can gain complete access to your account, including your private messages and the ability to post spam on your profile, and it tells people not to let anyone else access their account. A request to disable two-factor authentication removes the last check on that access.
Instagram says you shouldn't use apps that offer likes or followers, that accounts generating inauthentic activity go against its Community Standards, and that it may remove the likes and engagement such apps produce. A price per 1,000 followers is a package, not an agency.
Instagram notes that accounts that keep using outside apps to gain followers may find parts of their account limited, and that an account may be disabled or terminated. A sudden overnight jump is exactly the pattern to avoid; steady growth spread over weeks is what a real audience looks like.
Before you pay, ask three things in writing: who performs each action (a named person or software), what access that requires, and who your contact is when results stall. An agency that cannot answer plainly is not one to hand an account to.
